The custom guided photography tour: The benefit of your own guided photography tour is that it's just for you. We can go wherever your interests lead, taking the kind of photographs you love! During your tour where we visit is up to you. Peter can curate a tour to include the locations you really want to photograph and explore or you can leave it up to him to take you to places that you may not have considered (or a mixture of the two).
Where: London is full of interesting locations; the classic Royal locations, the bussle of the City of London, the glitz of the West End and the relaxed South Bank. But London has so much more to offer in the areas less often found or simply overlooked by many tourists. There are great local markets, East End pubs, classy galleries, the ever flowing River Thames and of course the locals. Keep a smile on your face and be prepared to have a chat with those we meet (and maybe photography) along the way.
Your guide: Peter Merry is a London street photographer and photography guide. He is available to help you get the best from your London photography with custom half day guided photography tours. With more than 10 years experience as a street photographer and many years working as a photography tutor and workshop leader he is well suited as your photography guide. He is also a popular speaker on both street and general photography and is a regular photography judge for competitions throughout the South of England. He is London born and has lived most of his life in and around the city.
Pricing, times and duration: Guilded photography tours are available in 3 hours sessions and cost £250.
When we start is up to you and you could even book two half day sessions to make a full day of it (with a break for a meal). Subsequent half day bookings are available at a reduced rate of £150.
You can bring a photography friend (up to a maximum of four people at a reduced rate of £150 each).
If you have a non-photographing partner they are also welcome to join us for free.
What's included: In addition to the custom tour locations we visit Peter is also able to help you with technical, artistic and project based ideas and help. The level of tuition and help is very much up to you, but you can be sure that you will learn something new and photograph some unexpected subjects along the way.

Photo guide review
We were looking for someone to take us to some of the less travelled locations and Peter knew just where to take us. He is a genuinely lovely person, easy to spend time with, a good listener and an excellent photographer.
