Custom photography workshops: The benefit of a custom photography workshop is that we will concentrate at what matters to you. Custom workshops are available just for you, or for up to 8 people who share your desire to learn something new, practice a skill and visit the best locations in London.

From getting to grips with your camera and going off automatic settings through to a variety of technical and artistic options the custom workshop can help you improve your photography in a great location.

We can go wherever your interests lead, taking the kind of photographs you love! Peter can curate a tour to include the locations you really want to photograph. Workshops are all street photography based, but that definition can be very wide ranging, so don't worry if you don't see yourself as a street photographer!

Where: London is full of interesting locations; the classic Royal locations, the bussle of the City of London, the glitz of the West End and the relaxed South Bank. But London has so much more to offer in the areas less often found or simply overlooked by many tourists. There are great local markets, East End pubs, classy galleries, the ever flowing River Thames and of course the locals. Keep a smile on your face and be prepared to have a chat with those we meet (and maybe photography) along the way.

The location of your workshop can be based on any suitable street photography location or we can take a short tour through a few interesting areas. Exact details will be sorted out well in advance.

Your guide: Peter Merry is a London street photographer, workshop leader and photography guide. He is available to help you get the best from your London street photography with custom half day workshops for you and your friends. With more than 10 years experience as a street photographer and many years working as a photography tutor and workshop leader he is well suited to help you get the most from your time in London. He is also a popular speaker on both street and general photography and is a regular photography judge for competitions throughout the South of England. He is London born and has lived most of his life in and around the city.

Pricing, times and duration: Custom photography workshops are available in 3 hours sessions and are priced based on the number of attendees.

A single person (1-2-1 session) is £250

with additional photographers joining the workshop charged at £150 per person.

There is a maximum number of 8 people in each workshop and we will talk on-line to discuss the details of when you would like the workshop to run, where you would like to visit and what photography skills you would like to concentrate on.
